I had always wanted to go to Greece for my holidays. Everyone who had been always came back with tales of white sandy beaches, crystal clear water and delicious food. So, when I finally got the chance to visit, I jumped at the opportunity. I was not disappointed. The small fishing village of Boukari, south-west of Corfu, was the perfect place to relax and forget about the stresses of daily life. This small fishing settlement is situated immediately after Messongi, a highly established tourist destination and North-west of Lefkimmi bay. It is roughly 25 kilometers from the island’s capital.
The fresh fish was caught every morning and was absolutely delicious and the sea was so clean and clear that you could see the fish swimming around you. And if you ask about the locals : they were so polite and friendly that it felt like a family place.
